This is a very common question that I'm being asked by friends, family members and clients.
What's the difference between Facebook and Twitter or which one is better for your business marketing?
Internet marketing is becoming more and more complex and so are the ideas from left to right. The majority of people will tell you about these two social media networks without even using them themselves. Simply clueless...
I will be very brief and concise with my point. First of all, you must be able to keep up with updates on both Twitter or Facebook in order to see some results. Again! You must be able to keep up with posts or Tweets. I have noticed that the majority of folks will set up these accounts and hope that some magical hands will guide them to the promise land. Indeed, you're going to the promise land with this approach. It is called "Zero result".
Enough with the non sense!(hahahhah) I think the biggest difference between Facebook and Twitter as far as " Internet Marketing" is the loyalty factor.
Your math teacher explained this even better. (+)X(+)= (+) -- A friend of a friend of yours is your friend. That is the easiest way to see " Facebook". So, this is real gold under the ground. You have to find ways to bring it to the surface. One of the techniques is to always remind your audience about your services or products by also attaching your website link directly.
Twitter is a good and luck combination. You need to talk about your services and hope for individuals to follow you because of "keywords". I think there is no loyalty here. But you can keep talking about your products or services and someone will buzz you soon. So, in order for you to be exposed here, you need to updates on a consistent bases.
But I found Twitter is more for advanced users. If you're a celebrity like Sarah Palin, then this is where you want to be. A regular "mojo"? don't push your luck pal.
