Getting Your Website Indexed

Getting your website indexed by the search engine is one of the first tasks you will have to accomplish for your website optimization. In simple words, "indexing" your website means that the search engines have accepted your website to be listed in their directories or listings.

Simple ways To Get Your website Indexed

From my experience, the easiest way to get your website listed is by

1. Set up your Title, Description and keywords.

2. Set up a list of 5 directories and SE (My listing includes Google, Yahoo, DMOZ, Superpages, Bing) that you can submit manually. ( All of them have a section called add listing or submit site, or Refer website)

3. Set up a blog or a group under one of the social media networks such as facebook, google groups, yahoo groups, or myspace. Anywhere that you think you will keep up with updating not just to yourself, but with your friends and the world. You need as much exposure possible.

You're done! Your website will be indexed within 3 to 7 days.

    You have a nice blog. Actually while hosting multiple websites, one should be careful to host them on different ip addresses. This will be very helpful in link building. I use http://www.multipleiphosting.com for hosting multiple websites. You can check them too.
